We focus on three types of care: personal care, assisted living, and respite care.

Personal Care

Personal care includes providing complete care for residents who are unable to do any basic functions for themselves. These residents are in need of total care providing complete assistance with daily living. They include residents who are bed-bound, have cognitive disabilities, are mentally incapacitated, have various forms of paralysis, and any other resident in need of total personal care. At their request, Carela's will provide our personal care residents complete assistance with:

  • bathing

  • dressing

  • toileting

  • eating

  • medication

  • grooming

  • laundry

  • cleaning

  • traveling

Assisted Living

Assisted living provides care for residents who need some help with activities of daily living yet wish to remain as independent as possible. Carela's staff will provide our assisted living residents the appropriate and requested assistance at their discretion to ensure their satisfaction of independence. Assisted living is a good housing option for those who do not need an intense level of daily medical care. Though medical care is limited in an assisted living facility, it is possible to contract for some medical needs.

Respite Care

Respite care is short-term, temporary relief to those who are caring for family members who might otherwise require permanent placement in a facility outside the home. Carela's will provide short term breaks that relieve stress, restore energy, and promote balance while sharing the responsibility for care giving and getting support. We provide temporary care for varying lengths of time.
